Carrie Reynolds, P.A.-C, 0riginally from a small town in Vermont, she graduated from Colorado College in 2004 with Distinction in Biology and a Minor in French. She completed her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Towson University in Maryland, before deciding she wanted to make Colorado her permanent home. Carrie landed her first P.A. job at an endocrinology practice in Denver and gained a wealth of knowledge in an area that is becoming more and more important in our country today: Diabetes and metabolism. Carrie was trained in the newest treatments for diabetes and has had great success implementing those treatments, as well as counseling patients in diabetic education, nutrition and exercise. One of Carrie’s passions continues to be endocrinology, but she turned to family practice for a wider variety of patient care. She gained primary care experience working at a family practice in Erie, Colorado. Other than endocrinology, Carrie enjoys women’s health, STD prevention and treatment, cardiology and pediatrics. She also gained a great deal of experience in surgery and enjoys suturing and urgent care procedures.
Outside of work Carrie has a very active lifestyle and competes in many triathlons and running races. She completed a Half Ironman Triathlon with Team In Training in 2010, and raised money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She and her husband enjoy training together and taking their dog to the mountains for skiing, cycling and hiking.
